See some of the process of creating the cards.
Once the outline of the book and the content of each card is decided the illustration planning begins.
1. I start off with some rough thumbnail sketches of the cards (images and text placement) that capture the main themes of the cards.
2. Next I make more detailed layouts of the cards.
3. Then come the drawings of the actual components in the illustration.
4. After all that, the digital process begins. I import the components into Photoshop, modify, refine, and add color.
